What is different about PaperCon 2015

In 2015 TAPPI celebrates its 100th year with activities throughout the entire year. The highlight of this year-long celebration will be the Centennial Celebration; April 18-25. PaperCon will be the anchor event of the Centennial Celebration and will be co-located with the highly successful Tissue360 Forum and NETInc (Innovative Nonwovens Conference) as well as the OpEx Reliability Workshop, and RPTA PT Seminar. In addition many of TAPPI’s other divisions will be contributing content and joining us as we celebrate our outstanding achievements.

Tissue 360 Forum provides a peer reviewed noncommercial program focused on technical advances and education.

OpEx Reliability Workshop is designed for mill maintenance and reliability supervisors who are interested in bringing the latest reliability techniques and best practices back to their mill.

NETInc is a co-located technical conference presented by TAPPI’s nonwovens Division. New technology and tutorial sessions are included.

About TAPPI:

In 1915, thirty enterprising papermakers gathered together determined to form a new technical arm of the American Paper & Pulp Association (APPA). Their idea was to gather and disseminate information concerning matters which have to do with production. This forward thinking group wanted to create a forum where information could be channeled and ideas could be exchanged.

In less than a year, The Technological Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry was born.  Known world-wide as TAPPI, their formula for success continues to work and their service to the pulp, paper and packaging industries continues to grow.
