Overview:
The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, better known as ICAST, is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show. ICAST 2013 hosted approximately 9,500 members of the global sportfishing industry at the Las Vegas Convention Center, July 9 – 12, 2013. ICAST is produced by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), the sportfishing industry’s trade association, which looks out for the interests of the entire sportfishing community. ICAST is the premier showcase for the latest innovations in fishing gear, accessories and apparel and is the cornerstone of the sportfishing industry, helping to drive sportfishing companies’ product sales year round.
Attendees:
Only at ICAST can you visit hundreds of manufacturers and evaluate thousands of products all under one roof.
Top Five Reasons to Attend
New Product Showcase - The New Product Showcase offers exhibitors and buyers a special opportunity to debut and preview hundreds of the next season's innovations in fishing gear and accessories. Buyers and Media-editorial badge holders have the opportunity to evaluate each new product and vote for the prestigious "Best of Show" awards in 22 product categories.
View All Major Product Lines at ICAST - Want to stay ahead of the game? ICAST is the only trade show where major manufacturers display their entire product lines.
ICAST-only Specials - ICAST show specials offer buyers strong incentives to save money by striking deals at the show. In 2012, nearly a third of all ICAST exhibitors offered show specials providing high and low rollers significant product discounts.
Buyer Raffles - Each time an order is placed with an exhibitor, a buyer increases his or her odds of winning the ICAST Buyer Raffle. Buyers can win cash prizes or one lucky buyer will win the jackpot, a trip for two to Crocodile Bay Resort in Costa Rica.
Networking Opportunities - Business still revolves around face-to-face meetings. There's no place like ICAST to connect with industry leaders and build or maintain relationships with people from around the globe.
Exhibitors:
ICAST is the premier showcase for the latest innovations in fishing gear, accessories and apparel, helping to drive sportfishing companies’ product sales year-round.
Only at ICAST can you meet with thousands of dealers, hundreds of outdoor media representatives and expand your global business network.

About the Sportfishing Industry’s Trade Association:
The American Sportfishing Association (ASA), the sportfishing industry’s trade association, was created in 1933 to represent tackle manufacturers’ business interests. Since then, the association has evolved from representing the interests of just tackle manufacturers to championing the entire sportfishing community. The association is funded through membership dues and income generated by its annual trade show and its consumer-based fishing and outdoor sports shows.
