Overview:
The 2014 Amusement Expo, the annual event for the coin-op and revenue-generating amusement, music and family entertainment industry, has a new look - a three-day program, featuring one day of education and two days of exhibits.
The new format will begin with a full day of "Knowledge Sessions" beginning on Tuesday,
March 25. These compelling educational sessions will address timely topics and provide useful information for all who attend. Two full days of exhibit time will follow on Wednesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 27.
About AAMA:
The American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) is an international non-profit trade organization representing the manufacturers, distributors, and part suppliers of the coin-operated amusement industry. AAMA was founded in 1981 by a small group of amusement coin-operated machine manufacturers concerned with the future of their industry.
About AMOA:
AMOA, originally known simply as MOA -- The Music Operators of America -- was born January 21, 1948, when 68 jukebox owners from around the country banded together to fight the repeal of the jukebox royalty exemption. The modest beginning, created by a common cause, revealed a fierce passion-shared by many-about their business. Harnessing the collective strength, energy, knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit of a growing number of volunteer members, AMOA quickly established itself as a major force within the trade. More than 64 years later, these same traits are tapped daily to offer an ever-expanding array of programs and services to members and the entire industry.
