Event Overview:
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series makes running fun. Each year, more athletes participate in Rock ‘n’ Roll running events than any other running series in the United States.
What started as a simple idea in 1998 - a marathon with bands along the course celebrating each participant - soon transformed the running landscape igniting the second running boom.
While entertainment and the energy of a festival weekend define the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series experience, runners have raised more than $310 million for participating charities shows our heart and soul.
About the Course
Back for the third year, the Saturday 5K kicks off the running over race in a BIG way! Hosted again at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, we take the party off the Strip for a high-energy experience from start to finish. A post-race headliner concert will be sure to rock your running socks off and send you off in the night ready to celebrate!
Take on the Saturday 5k AND any of the Sunday distances to conquer the Remix Challenge and earn your third medal of the weekend (to be revealed soon!)
Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas features a three-day Health & Fitness Expo prior to the race, which all participants must visit to pick up their race packets. Free and open to the public, this expo features the latest in running technologies, fitness apparel, health & nutrition information and interactive displays.
Pick up some last-minute essentials before race day and be sure to visit the Brooks Official Merchandise Store. All runners must visit the expo to pick up their race number, gear bag and t-shirt.
