Who attends Railway Interchange?

As a point of reference, Railway Interchange 2015 attracted 9,571 registered attendees from 42 countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Russia, and South Africa. Among those in attendance are representatives from North American and international Class 1 Railroads, Short Line Railroads, and mining concerns – a full 38.8% of which held the title of CEO, Executive, VP, or Manager. Purchasing professionals, specifying engineers, railroad employees, and other railroad influencers (e.g. other railroad staff, government regulators, representatives from municipalities, members of the trade press, university students) comprise the other portion of attendees, making Railway Interchange a focused, vibrant, engaged, and information-driven audience.

About The Organizations:

AREMA, the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, is an international individual membership professional association that represents the personnel who design, construct and maintain the railways and transit systems around the world. AREMA, through its 31 Technical Committees also develops and distributes the standards and recommended practices for the railway engineering industry.

RSI, the Railway Supply Institute, is the international trade association representing companies with emphasis on the mechanical segment of the railway and transit industry. RSI is also the railway supplier "voice" in Washington, DC and lobbies on behalf of railway suppliers and their customers at the federal and state level.

CMA, the Coordinated Mechanical Associations are administered by RSI and consist of:

    Locomotive Maintenance Officers Association
    Mechanical Association Railcar Technical Services
    League of Railway Industry Women
