Lake Placid is a town dedicated to events. We're one of the few two-time Olympic host cities in the world, and home to the oldest continual Ironman event in the continental US (18 years and counting), not to mention countless other world-class events.At the Conference Center we've hosted such annual conventions as the Lions Clubs of New York and Bermuda, Rotary International, New York State Nurses Association and CSEA, just to name a few.
