FRWA is an approved provider for Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Distribution License CEUs. We are also a provider of PDHs (Professional Development Hours) for Professional Engineers area of practice and Laws.
Please pick the track you wish to attend for the CEUs/PDHs offered at the Conference. You must attend the Opening Session in addition to all of the classes in your chosen Track to qualify for the 1.0 CEUs/10 hours PDHs (Area of Practice). The Water Track is for Water CEUs only and the Wastewater Track and Wastewater Review is for Wastewater CEUs only; however, the CEUs earned for the Administrative Track and DW/WW Track may be applied to either your water or wastewater license.
You may earn bonus CEUs at the Pre-Conference Training (0.5 CEUs) on Monday the 5th; the combined DW/WW may be applied to either your water, wastewater, or distribution systems license, and the WW Review Course may be applied to your wastewater license. However, this is considered bonus training, and you must attend both Tuesday (August 6) and Wednesday (August 7) to receive the bonus CEUs.
For as long as I can remember, one of the most frequent questions that we are asked is “Exactly what does Florida Rural Water (FRWA) do?” We were originally formed for the benefit of small water and wastewater systems throughout Florida. We now serve all systems, large and small. We are a nonprofit trade association and not a government agency. We are a professional, non-regulatory, and non-governmental agency Association.
Since it’s beginning, FRWA’s primary purpose is to assist water and wastewater systems with every phase of the water and wastewater operations. Our Active members consist of public water and wastewater systems, such as counties, municipalities, associations, districts, mobile home parks, schools, authorities, etc. Our seven board of directors are elected from the membership at our Annual Business Meeting.
