We’ve waited a whole year to say this… it’s time to make your plans to join us at the SNIS 18th Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado from July 26-29!
We’re excited to see many of you in person, but we know that the uncertain conditions created by the COVID-19 pandemic will make it difficult for some to join us on-site in Colorado. That’s why the SNIS 18th Annual Meeting is planned as a hybrid meeting with both in-person and livestreamed content. This ensures that everyone can take part in the outstanding education that will be offered this year. Virtual attendees will be able to view the meeting in real time and ask questions of the speakers during presentations, and both physical and virtual attendees will be able to access the virtual meeting platform with recordings of all the sessions after the meeting.
This is our fourth visit to Colorado Springs, but one glance at the conference agenda shows how hard our program committee has worked to bring you new content and learning opportunities. From thought-provoking sessions and visionary abstracts to a variety of discussion forums positioned to challenge our status quo, this year’s Annual Meeting promises to educate, engage and inspire – whether in person or through your computer screens. We are pleased to welcome back our partners in scientific programming: the AANS/CNS Joint Cerebrovascular Section, led by Joshua Osbun, MD and the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT), led by Christian Taschner, MD. These active members of the program committee are bringing a wealth of ideas and energy to the meeting.
As always, we will spotlight the annual Grant Hieshima Luminary Lecture, this year provided by Gary Duckwiler, MD, FSNIS. Once again, we host the Amy Walters Lecture, an endowed annual lectureship that allows us to honor one inspiring patient at the SNIS Annual Meeting and the ESMINT Annual Meeting to help remind us why we entered this field of medicine.
All registrants are invited to spend each morning taking a deep dive into neurovascular anatomy at the SNIS Neuroanatomy Master Class. These sessions will focus on in-depth understanding of neurovascular anatomy of relevance to neurointerventionalists, as well as technical pearls related to anatomical knowledge.
