The Summit is an intensive, three-day learning and sharing experience that provides the most updated and vital information, state of the art research, and emerging science, which can be put to immediate use in caring for individuals with spinal cord injury/disease (SCI/D), MS, and ALS.
Attendees representing multiple disciplines from the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as private health-care institutions come together network, collaborate, and share knowledge. Summit will present more than 65 plenary and break out sessions, 30 poster presentations, with up to 21 continuing education credits available. Presentations will highlight the latest developments in clinical practice, research, and emerging technologies,
The Summit convenes physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, therapists, researchers, pharmacist, dietitian, and educators to present best practices and evidence-based models and to share with their peers who experience similar challenges, and can exchange knowledge and experiences that advance SCI/D care.
Also, the Summit is the only U.S. conference that brings together interdisciplinary healthcare teams from the VA and private institutions to strengthen the continuum of care for veterans and all people living with spinal cord injury and related diseases (SCI/D). Attendees from around the nation will come to learn from renowned leaders and specialists, collaborate with their colleagues in other disciplines, and catch the industry’s newest medical innovations.
Attendees will also be able to earn 20 plus CEUs/CMEs.

Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of its members – veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.
PVA helps paralyzed and disabled Veterans regain their independence after injury or diagnosis.
