Creation of the North American Spine Association
David Selby held a meeting in his hotel room, co-hosted by Vert Mooney. Drs. Arthur White, Tony Dwyer, William Kirkaldy-Willis, John Frymoyer, Mark Brown, Casey Lee, Henry LaRocca, Scott Haldeman, Charles Burton and Leon Wiltse proposed that the “North American Spine Association” be developed to include any orthopedist, neurologist, neurosurgeon, radiologist, rheumatologist, physiatrist, etc. who devoted at least 50% of their practice to the lumbar spine.
Surgical Training
Attend multiple hands-on courses and evening workshops as well as surgical demonstrations from NASS faculty and industry.
Courses and Workshops
Four CME courses will occur during the day with two non-CME workshops in the evening. These courses and workshops are a great way to gain additional education and hands-on time while at the meeting.
Surgical Innovation Lab Demos
Get your hands on the latest products and try procedures on actual specimens during surgical innovation lab demonstrations from several companies, including DePuy Synthes, Globus Medical, Life Spine, Medacta, Medtronic, Misonix, Orthofix, Relievant, Spineology, and Terumo BCT. Stryker Interventional Spine will hold a surgical innovation lab workshop as well.
